Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

Raccoo ("Raccoo", "we", "us") is an AI social media manager operated by TenGate at raccoo.app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address and password (stored only as a salted hash).
  • Brand information: website addresses you give us, the public content Raccoo reads from those websites, and the Brand DNA you confirm (colors, fonts, logo, voice, audience, products).
  • Content and feedback: the posts, images and videos Raccoo makes for you, your swipes, edits, notes and schedules.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect a network we receive an access token (and, where offered, a refresh token), your account or page ID, name, username and avatar, and the public metrics of the posts Raccoo publishes for you (for example views, likes, comments and shares) plus follower counts.
  • Billing: your plan and credit balance. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and server logs needed to run and secure the service. We use only essential cookies (to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in flow). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How we use information

  • To create posts for your brands and learn your preferences from your feedback.
  • To publish the posts you approve, at the times you choose, to the accounts you connect.
  • To show you how published posts perform and use that to improve future posts for the same brand.
  • To run billing, provide support, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data or your connected accounts' data for advertising.

3. Data from connected platforms

Raccoo only requests the permissions needed to publish your approved posts and read their performance. We do not read private messages, and we do not collect data about your followers or other users. Tokens are encrypted at rest. Data from each platform is used only to provide Raccoo's features to you, and is never transferred to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with law, or with your consent.

YouTube and Google

Raccoo uses YouTube API Services to upload videos you approve and read their statistics. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Raccoo's access at any time from your Google security settings. Raccoo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used to train AI models.

Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Pinterest

We use these platforms' APIs only to publish your approved content to the pages and profiles you select and to read insights for that content. You can remove Raccoo's access from each platform's app settings at any time, or disconnect the account inside Raccoo.

4. AI processing

To write captions and make images and videos, Raccoo sends your Brand DNA and post instructions to AI providers acting as our service providers, currently Anthropic (Claude) and Ci Studio. They process this data to return results to us. We do not use your connected-account data or Google user data to train AI models.

5. How we share information

  • Social networks you connect, when publishing posts you approved.
  • Service providers that run Raccoo for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Cloudflare (network and security), Stripe (payments), Anthropic and Ci Studio (AI generation).
  • Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
  • Business transfers, if Raccoo is merged or sold, under this policy's protections.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. When you disconnect a social account we delete its stored tokens immediately. When you delete your account we delete your personal data, brands, content and tokens within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons. Encrypted backups are overwritten within 7 days after that.

7. Data deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

  • To remove one network, disconnect it on the brand page in Raccoo. Its tokens are deleted immediately.
  • To delete your account and all associated data, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my Raccoo account". We confirm by email and complete deletion within 30 days.
  • If you signed in to a platform such as Facebook and removed Raccoo there, you can also ask us to delete the data we received from it using the same email address.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, encrypt social tokens at rest, hash passwords, and restrict access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.

10. International transfers

Raccoo is hosted in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the US.

11. Children

Raccoo is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
