Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of Raccoo, an AI social media manager at raccoo.app operated by TenGate ("Raccoo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Raccoo you agree to them. If you use Raccoo for a business, you accept these terms on its behalf.

1. The service

Raccoo drafts posts, images and videos for your brands, lets you approve them, and publishes approved posts to the social accounts you connect. Features may change as we improve the service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Connected social accounts

When you connect an account (for example Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Threads or Pinterest), you authorize Raccoo to publish the posts you approve and to read their performance. You must have the right to manage every account and page you connect. Your use of each network remains subject to that network's terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service. You can disconnect an account at any time; scheduled posts to it are then cancelled.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of your brand materials and of the posts Raccoo makes for you. You give us a limited license to store, process and publish that content only to provide the service. You are responsible for reviewing content before it is published, including posts published automatically under settings you turn on, and for making sure it is accurate and lawful.

5. AI-generated content

Raccoo uses AI to create content. AI output can be inaccurate, similar to content made for others, or unsuitable, so review it before publishing. We do not guarantee that generated content is unique or free of third-party rights.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Raccoo to:

  • publish unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit or infringing content;
  • spam, impersonate others, or break any network's rules or rate limits;
  • manage accounts you are not authorized to manage;
  • reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service, or resell it without our permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Plans, credits and billing

AI generation uses credits. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from Settings and keep access until the end of the paid period. Credits already granted remain usable while your account is open. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.

8. Third-party services

Raccoo depends on social networks and AI providers we do not control. If a network changes or withdraws API access, some features may stop working, and we are not responsible for their actions.

9. Termination

You may stop using Raccoo and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

Raccoo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise any particular reach, engagement or business result.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your connected accounts, or your breach of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, notify you in advance. Continuing to use Raccoo means you accept the updated terms.
